CiteKit
Terms of Use
Terms for using CiteKit's free GEO tools, templates, and guides.
No guarantees
CiteKit provides educational tools, browser-based workflows, templates, examples, and source notes for SaaS AI search visibility work. It does not guarantee search rankings, AI citations, traffic, revenue, AdSense approval, legal compliance, or accuracy of any third-party answer system. Tool outputs are drafts for review, not final publishing advice, and they should be checked against public sources before any business decision.
Human review requirement
Generated output should be treated as a draft artifact. A human reviewer should verify public facts, product claims, schema fields, competitor references, pricing, source links, and limitations before using the output on a live website or in a client deliverable. This requirement applies even when the output is copied as Markdown, downloaded, or saved locally.
- Compare schema fields with visible page copy before publishing JSON-LD.
- Verify competitor and alternatives claims from public pages before using a brief.
- Review answer snippets for accuracy, tone, and supportable proof.
- Record prompt tests as observations, not guarantees of future AI answers.
User responsibility
Review all generated schema, copy, prompt logs, crawler findings, alternatives briefs, checklist items, and saved reports before publishing or sending them to a client. You are responsible for claims made on your website, including pricing, competitor comparisons, integration claims, customer proof, and structured data fields.
Appropriate use
Use CiteKit for public SaaS marketing, documentation, and comparison-page planning. Do not use the tools to generate deceptive claims, copy competitor material, misrepresent citations, hide page facts in schema, or create pages whose main purpose is to attract ads without helping users complete a task. Content created from a template should still include original evidence, public sources, and human review.
Prohibited uses
Do not use CiteKit to create misleading rankings, fake citations, copied competitor descriptions, cloaked structured data, spam pages, or advertising-first pages that do not help a visitor complete a task. Do not use the tools to process private customer information, credentials, confidential analytics, unreleased product data, or legal claims that need professional review.
- Do not publish generated comparison claims without source review.
- Do not hide claims in schema that are absent from the visible page.
- Do not use fictional examples as if they were real customer proof.
- Do not build pages primarily to surround thin generated text with ads.
Generated examples
Many examples use fictional products such as AcmeFlow so users can understand the workflow without exposing private client data. Fictional examples should not be copied as factual claims. Replace sample facts, competitors, prices, integrations, and citations with verified public information before using any output.
Advertising boundaries
Ad placements, if enabled later, should comply with Google Publisher Policies and should not mislead users or encourage accidental clicks. Ads should remain clearly separate from tool buttons, report actions, download controls, navigation links, and checklist or log-builder workflows. If a placement interferes with the task on the page, it should be changed or removed.
Advertising-supported service
CiteKit is planned as a free advertising-supported site after approval. Advertising support does not change the user responsibility to review outputs, and it does not mean a tool result is endorsed by an advertiser or ad platform. The site should remain usable without clicking ads, and advertising should not be presented as advice, a download requirement, a result expansion, or a replacement for source review.
Service availability and changes
CiteKit is provided as a free static tool site and may change as the method, source references, browser behavior, or advertising requirements change. Pages, examples, generated output formats, and local browser features can be updated or removed. Users should download important reports and keep their own source notes for business-critical work. Continued use of the site means accepting the current version of these terms.
Changes and corrections
CiteKit may update tool logic, examples, source notes, policy pages, and advertising placement rules as public guidance changes. Corrections can be sent to feiyangkl3@gmail.com with the page URL and supporting source. Significant corrections should change the page or tool behavior, not only the review date.
